Welcome to VIP Notaries of America. My name is Christal Martinez, and my journey to building this company is rooted in resilience, family, and a deep desire to lift others up.
My story began in Los Angeles, California, but at the age of 11, I moved to Arizona, which has proudly been my home ever since. Growing up, I watched my parents struggle. As a proud Hispanic woman and a survivor of childhood abuse, domestic violence, and a difficult divorce, I know what it feels like to live in survival mode. As a single mother trying to make ends meet, I desperately wanted to build a secure future for my children. In 2017, my life shifted beautifully when I met my husband, Joe. We married in 2018 and created a wonderful blended family with our four children. They are my ultimate motivation and my biggest supporters.
Driven to change our trajectory right here in Arizona, I stepped into the notary industry and discovered my true purpose. In 2020, I founded VIP Notaries of America to create a space where other independent entrepreneurs can build thriving businesses, find financial freedom, and achieve a sense of true liberty. I wanted to build a path so others wouldn't have to endure the hardships I did. By providing consistent jobs and signing assignments for our partnered notaries, we ensure their work is truly valued. Additionally, being bilingual allows me to break down language barriers, ensuring our services reach and comfort a diverse community.
We realized that our impact was broad because we solve critical, high-stakes problems for our industry partners. Settlement agents, escrow officers, realtors, lenders, and attorneys constantly face tight deadlines, missing signatures, administrative burnout, and the challenge of serving Spanish-speaking clients. My Approach
In 2018, I embarked on two remarkable journeys - uniting with my closest companion and launching my own venture. These experiences represented a significant milestone in my life, introducing not only a loyal partner and additional children but also a deeper sense of kinship. Encouraged by their steadfast assistance, I discovered the courage to transition from my conventional occupation to pursue entrepreneurship as an independent Bilingual, Mobile Notary Signing Agent. Throughout 2019, amidst the rapid spread of the pandemic, I personally conducted approximately 4,000 signings single-handedly, witnessing remarkable growth in my business. This growth culminated in the establishment of my Signing Service, VIP Notaries of America, in 2020. The individuals depicted in the accompanying image are not merely faces; they embody the driving forces behind my dedication, drive, and the foundation of my extensive support network. This new career path not only enabled me to allocate more time to my family, the cornerstone of my life, but also allowed me to strike a balance between my professional pursuits and contributing to the community. Through our business, we have been able to support other enterprises by adding value to their operations and aiding in their prosperity.
Dream it
I have long harbored the dream of owning my own business. Never did I imagine that I would be the successful female, Hispanic business owner that I am today. I live by the motto:

At VIP Notaries of America, I have dedicated myself to fostering trust through hands-on experience in mortgage transactions. Building upon this trust, I established a collaborative team comprised of skilled notaries nationwide. Leveraging my expertise, I have been able to mentor and support them in excelling as Loan Signing Agents and Notaries.
Within our team, we embrace a culture of mutual assistance, working together to overcome challenges seamlessly. Our collective efforts have culminated in the establishment of a robust organization aimed at serving the community. Beyond being a mere alliance of partners, we consider ourselves a close-knit family, united in our commitment to providing exceptional service to our community.
